Laura Corbeth is now in her late-fifties. She lives in central Ontario, Canada with her husband of twenty-five years, her twenty-three year old son and two rescued dogs. She is a successful entrepreneur, having owned, along with her husband, a graphic design and marketing business for over two decades. She is passionate about her business. She is also an avid animal lover. She volunteers with various dog rescue organizations – she wants to “save them all.”

This blog is her personal journey of awakening. Laura now hopes to educate others on what she has learned. She has met with many psychologists and doctors to help her understand mental health issues and her resulting trauma.

She now wants to educate and talk about psychological abuse, physical abuse, child emotional neglect, bullying, adverse childhood experiences, attachment theory and complex post-traumatic stress disorder.

Today Laura is an advocate against bullying.
