Painting Jesus. True story.

I’ve been wanting to write a special message for Christmas, and today I had an uplifting message: “Let your Light Shine”.

It is a few days before Christmas and I looked at the clock: 222. It has been happening a lot lately. I googled what it might mean. I read that 222 is a spiritual number with deep meaning. The Universe is giving you a message.

I thought of my angels and went onto YouTube and this video popped up.

I just finished watching it and got so moved and uplifted. I had always seen this painting since it was on the news years ago, and love the image of Jesus.

What comes to mind after seeing this, is you cannot hide a light under a bushel. This painting was hidden for many years, and now is where it should be. For Christmas, I want to send everyone some blessings (or any holiday that you may be celebrating). 

For those who do celebrate Jesus’ birth, I will end with a quote from the New International Version as quoted above:

Matthew 5 

14You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Let your Light shine.
